Karissa joined Capital Financial Planners in 2023 with 20+ years of experience working in customer service. This experience ranges from working at the area's beloved Enchanted Forest during her high school years to spending the ten years prior to joining Capital Financial Planners as a Pharmacy Technician in Salem and the surrounding areas.
When Karissa is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dusty, and their two children, Violet and Calvin. They like to watch Disney movies as a family while snacking on popcorn, go fishing at local ponds, and enjoy dance parties while baking.
Karissa's solo interests include baking muffins and cookies, learning how to crochet, and listening to all kids of music. Since 2015, she has been a part of an amateur pool (billiards) league that has taken her all the way to the National Championship held in Las Vegas.
