Frequently Asked Questions
Who is your typical client?
Generally, our clients are people who either want help sorting through their financial affairs or help managing their investment portfolios. Most clients rely on us for both of these services.
Life changing experiences often bring clients to us. These event include: a "significant" birthday (age 50, 60, etc.), an inheritance, retirement, or the loss of a loved one.
Most clients seek financial security for themselves and their families so they can enjoy life knowing that they have a financial partner taking care of the investment aspects of their lives.
Why should I choose a financial planner over another type of financial advisor?
As Certified Financial Planner™ professionals, both Judy Heltzel and Barry Nelson abide by a strict Code of Ethics. They make an effort to take into account a client's overall financial situation and have a responsibility to recommend solutions that are in the best interest of their clients.
Do you have a minimum account size?
No, but we feel we best serve those clients with investable assets of $500,000 or more. We serve clients with smaller amounts and those with significantly more. We evaluate this issue on a case by case basis.
