Judith H. Heltzel, MBA, CFP® has been helping individuals manage their financial affairs since 1984 when she graduated from the Atkinson School of Business, Willamette University. As the founder of Capital Financial Planners, LLC Judy continues to emphasize personalized attention to our clients while providing expert investment advice.

Judy has lived in Salem since 1966. She is married to Jim, an Oregonian. She has been involved in many community and professional volunteer activities. She enjoys jogging, music, and travel.

Barrigan W. Nelson, CFP® has been with Capital Financial Planners, LLC since 2001 and became a Member in 2007. Since graduating magna cum laude from Willamette University he has helped fuel the continuing growth of Capital Financial Planners, LLC. Barry has served on a number of non-profit Boards, serving as President of one and Treasurer of two.

A Salem native, Barry has been a vocalist from an early age and continues to sing with local ensembles. In addition to singing, he enjoys woodworking, playing softball, and spending time with his wife, Heather, and sons, Carter and Sawyer.
